About preschool

English-speaking preschool Wawel International School is a non-public bilingual kindergarten. At the English-speaking preschool Wawel International School, children aged 3 to 6 are taught. The international environment of the pupils and teachers enables the children of the English-speaking kindergarten Wawel International School to play and cooperate with peers and teachers from all over the world.
Wawel International School’s bilingual kindergarten allows children to develop social skills, intercultural awareness and emotional competence. Engaging, child-centred activities in the English-speaking kindergarten allow the students to develop a problem-based approach to issues and to perceive cause and effect relationships between phenomena occurring in the world.

Wawel International School’s English-speaking kindergarten applies the immersion method – language immersion. Through daily interaction with a teacher who speaks only English, the children acquire the freedom to communicate in the language. Through regular interaction with a Polish-speaking teacher – they develop language competence in Polish.
Wawel International School’s English-language kindergarten gives children the opportunity to regularly participate in excursions and workshops to develop their knowledge and skills. Wawel International School’s international preschool includes in its calendar holidays that are important for the cultures of the families that make up the Wawel International School community, allowing the children to develop intercultural competences as well as to maintain their national identity.
Spacious, modernly equipped classrooms, minimal exposure to screen time and a safe, attractive playground allow the children to learn, play and develop in an optimal way.
