The children have the opportunity to “immerse” themselves in the language by interacting with an English-speaking teacher on a daily basis and by participating in common room and extra-curricular activities in English, so that they quickly acquire the ability to communicate freely in a foreign language in everyday situations. Foreign language learning is further supported by the implementation of the Global Perspectives programme, which is based on a problem-based approach to global issues and also allows children to develop soft skills. From Grade 1 onwards, children begin to follow the internationally recognised Cambridge Programme in English and other subjects.
